Córdoba

Córdoba presents a unique past. You will experience a mix of cultures evident in the city's landmarks. The local guide will take you to see the Roman Bridge, Jewish Quarter, and Old Town. Admission to the Great Mosque, ordered built in 785 by Abd al-Rahman I the founder of the Emirate of Córdoba was consecrated a Cathedral in 1236 when Christian forces gained control of the city, the Synagogue, one the few surviving Mediaeval synagogues in Spain, and Patios are included in the tour. Free time is included for you to have lunch and explore on your own before you meet the local guide at the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs and return in the air-conditioned coach to Costa del Sol.
