Algarve a la Carte
A full day of discovery and history in the Algarve. From the town of Silves, with the Moorish castle which affords magnificent views over the surrounding countryside, to the spa village of Caldas de Monchique, where one can partake of the natural spring waters.
Ascend into the Monchique Mountains, a haven of green undulating hillsides, majestic cork trees and pungent eucalyptus groves. Follow the winding road to the highest point in the Algarve - Fóia, 902m above sea-level. Enjoy lunch in the small village of Marmelete.
Visit some magnificent beaches to take some excellent pictures. Then to the ‘end of the world’ – the town of Sagres – famous home to Prince Henry’s School of Navigation. A tiny lighthouse perches atop the cliffs at Cape St. Vincent, the most south western point of Europe, one may marvel the vastness of the landscape.
