The tour begins at Picos de Aventura office and follows road and paths in dirt track until you reach the bathing area of Wells, on the north coast of the island. Here we have the opportunity to still see vestiges of the era of whaling and know a little of the importance of this time for our archipelago. The connection is then made on dirt and asphalt road to the Pico da Cruz, inserted in a traditional farm with lush vegetation, where will be served lunch with regional products allowing people to taste the flavours of our islands. We still have the possibility to admire the famous Lusitanian horses, used in horse shows. The trail follows a dirt path with some climbs, until it reaches the Nature Reserve of Pinhal da Paz Recreation, where we will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of this place and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. The final part of the route includes unpaved paths and asphalt until reach the pineapples plantation, where we will have the opportunity to see how this fruit is grown and know the history and importance for the local economy.
