Afternoon guided visit of the city downtown main attractions and the four ruins nearby. The tour will start at the Cathedral to then continue with the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, after which we will visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress overlooking the city of Cuzco, a pre Inca architectural masterpiece; Kenko, a rock sanctuary whose main attraction is the monolithic altar representing a puma, the red Fortress of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, a beautiful fountain fed by a spring forming a series of basins. Return to Cusco downtown.

Transfer to the Train station to catch the train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu. Arrival in Aguas Calientes, reception and transfer to the bus station to go up to the Machu Picchu Citadel on a 30 minutes ride.
Upon arrival, guided visit of the most spectacular ancient city in the world. This fabulous city contains houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square; all connected by narrow roads and steps that are surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side. After the tour, free time to enjoy this spiritual wonder. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
Return in the afternoon by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Arequipa.
Departure from Arequipa via Yura, passing through the foothills of Chachani, Pampa de Arrieros, National Reserve of Pampa Cañahuas, continued by Vizcachani, Toccra Pampas, then border by the crater Chucura to reach Patapampa (4.800 m) and Mirador of the Andes where you can see the volcanoes surrounding the city of Arequipa. Descend to Chivay for lunch (not included). Accommodation at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the hot springs of La Calera. Box Lunch and dinner included.

Early departure to visit La Cruz del Condor (41 km. from Chivay), one of the most spectacular canyons, where you can almost always see the Condors in their majestic flight. Lunch and return to Arequipa, on the way we’ll have the chance to see “hanging tombs” dug on the cliff side. Arrival at Arequipa airport and flight departure to Lima.

Morning at leisure. Today we will enjoy our last tour of Lima visiting the “Museo de la Nación” (Nation’s Museum) that keeps numerous exhibits of the various cultures before the Spanish conquest.
