“SWEET RAFTING” – Chocolate Tour + Rafting Our tour immerses people into the world of chocolate with its aromas and delicious flavors. We will take a taste tour through the history of chocolate from its important role with indigenous populations to its arrival to Europe and the global market. Guests will get a hands on demonstration on the chocolate making process from the transformation of the Cacao bean to the chocolate products we have available on the market. Clients

will have a chance to mix chocolate with different exotic ingredients such as natural cinnamon, nutmeg, Jamaica flower and Chile powder. One we have satisfied our sweet tooth we will continue on to the Balsa River where we will enjoy up to 2 exhilarating hours of white water action on this beautiful tropical Balsa River. Get wet and wild through rapids such as “Magnetic Rock” and “Dredges”. Enjoy a swim, some fresh tropical fruits and cold drinks followed by a hearty Costa Rican lunch at a local farm. Our lunch spot is a tour in itself. Waterfall Rappelling  – After  breakfast your  guide  will meet you at the Hotel reception. After a short drive we will start our hike and experience the 2 miles of our interpretive loop trail, crossing 15 bridges ranging from 16-330 ft long, suspended in the primary rain forest. Your naturalist guide will accompany you along the trails while explaining the flora and fauna of the area as you try to catch some great sights of wildlife. Arenal Hanging Bridges is an eco tourist project of trails and bridges where the main target is the observation and protection of nature. Our private natural reserve, with almost 250 hectares of Tropical Rain Forest, has a vast variety of species from the area

Upon return to the hotel you will have the rest of the afternoon   free to enjoy the day at the  onsite  hot springs and  cool pools.

Breakfast at the hotel.  After check out   your driver will pick you up from the hotel reception  to  head over to the  Pacific  Coast. We will wind our way around the scenic Lake Arenal and  reach the  beach  in the early afternoon  with just enough time for a  quick dip and  to catch the sunset! .

On our way to the beach we will make a stop   at the Llanos de Cortez Waterfall where you can take a quick dip  to cool  off. Enjoy a fresh local lunch in route to the beach
