Full Day Terceira Island

Visit to the whale look-out, at Monte Brasil, an extinct volcano south of Ilha Terceira, with Angra's Bay to the east, and Baía do Fanal to the west. From the top of this mountain, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the World Heritage city. Afterwards, we visit the Serra da Ribeirinha, where you can see the Ilhéus das Cabras and Angra do Heroísmo from a different perspective. Then leave for the viewpoint of Serra do Cume, with a view of a vast plains divided by the pastures, known as the 'Manta de Retalhos', in other words, patchwork blanket and Praia da Vitória, with a visit to the viewpoint of Serra do Facho, with an exceptional panoramic view of the city. Regional lunch at a local restaurant in Angra do Heroísmo.

After lunch, we proceed to the Furnas do Enxofre, a secondary volcanic phenomenon in an area that consists of various volcanic gas leaks and visit the only active volcano in the world, Algar do Carvão. We then cross through the interior of the island, between cryptomeria forests and endemic vegetation, passing through the Biscoitos da Ferraria and Pico Alto Nature Reserves until we reach the natural pools of Biscoitos, formed by basalt. Following the west side of the island and stopping various viewpoints, we arrive at the last point of interest, the cheese factory, Queijo Vaquinha, where you can try various types of cheese and wine of the Azores.
