Itinerary
1) Candelária
This trail is a linear route connecting Candelária to Madalena.
From Madalena, the tour will reach the trail. It is located in an area that was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004. This trail is particularly rich in elements of the wine culture.
2) Vineyards
You will discover what makes Pico’s wine culture so special. And how this unique landscape was created.
Walking over a 1,500-year-old lava field, you will also be able to enjoy the view over the rock islets facing Madalena. From there you can see Pico Mountain and other geological formations.
